Voices from our participants

Maria Rosa: “Inclusion in Sport 2.0 in Hungary caught me off guard, in the best possible way. I went expecting to learn about sport and inclusion, and came back having learned something far more valuable: that the most meaningful changes happen when people who would never otherwise meet decide to build something together. What stayed with me most, though, was the reflection time built into the process, those quieter moments where I was pushed to sit with my own assumptions, question my practice, and truly listen to others. I hadn’t realised how much I needed that space until I was in it. For that, I remain genuinely grateful to Sport Evolution Alliance for opening that door.”

Paulo Fonseca: Participating in Sport evolution Alliance mobilities has been a valuable experience of international exchange and development. In addition to taking part in these experiences, I also collaborated with the organisation on project management, which allowed me to personally attest to the rigour and dedication invested in every detail. Sport Evolution Alliance stands out for its commitment to participants and for consistently delivering well organised and impactful projects.”

Mariana Figueiredo: “Taking part in these mobility experiences was much more than stepping outside my comfort zone; it was a turning point. Building a network across Europe and learning to exchange ideas with people from different cultures gave me a global perspective that no book could ever teach. These opportunities go far beyond enhancing a CV. They help develop essential soft skills, strengthen language abilities and open real doors to international career opportunities for those willing to embrace new experiences with an open mind and an open heart.”

Bruno Bidarra: “Sport Evolution Alliance was one of the key organisations supporting my transition from student to professional. Through my participation in more than seven Erasmus+ projects, I gained hands-on experience in European project implementation and I had the opportunity to connect with a wide range of stakeholders. Working as a youth worker was a decisive step in my life, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to work in an international environment and combine sport with truly social impact.”

Inês Brée: “Sport Evolution Alliance appeared at the right moment in my life. Participating in Youth Exchanges such as Breath and Fearless was truly life-changing, as it helped me to step out of my comfort zone, connect with people from different cultures and grow both personally and culturally through projects focused on sports and mental health.”

Catarina Duarte: “My Erasmus experience exceeded all expectations. Besides practicing languages and learning about new cultures, the non-formal learning method of these mobilities gave me practical tools and skills that no traditional classroom could ever provide. I highly recommend all young people to challenge themselves to participate, as the personal and social growth is immense.”
