About Art Is My Weapon
Art Is My Weapon aimed to equip young people and youth workers with tools to use art and creativity as a way to promote solidarity, unity, inclusion and equity after the impact of the COVID-19 crisis. Through non-formal education, participants implemented creative methods, produced video tutorials and worked together to design and paint murals in Struga, North Macedonia, using artistic expression to raise awareness and inspire future local activities.
Main Objectives
- Equipped young people and youth workers with tools to use art as a method for social awareness;
- Promoted solidarity, unity, inclusion and equity through creative expression;
- Implemented non-formal methods related to art and creativity;
- Created video tutorials showcasing the project’s creative methods;
- Designed and painted murals in Struga, North Macedonia;
- Encouraged participants to plan follow-up artistic activities in their local communities.
