About Educate Through Sport
Educate Through Sport aimed to introduce sport as a non-formal educational tool for promoting values, developing key competences and supporting personal, professional and social growth. Through practical activities, reflection and group work, participants explored the Education Through Sport methodology and learned how to design sport-based educational activities for their future work.
Main objectives
- Introduced sport as an educational tool for personal and social development;
- Promoted Education Through Sport as a non-formal learning methodology;
- Developed participants’ social, cultural, moral and ethical competences;
- Provided practical tools for participants’ future work with young people;
- Supported professional development through reflection and activity design;
- Encouraged participants to use sport as a way to give back to society.
