About Inclusion Through Sports
Inclusion Through Sports aimed to promote inclusion, personal development and social participation through Education Through Sport. Taking place in Jánoshalma, Hungary, the project brought together youth workers, trainers, teachers, sport coaches and youth leaders to explore how sport can be used as a non-formal educational tool to support young people from different backgrounds.
Main Objectives
- Introduced Education Through Sport through practice and theory;
- Provided practical tools for using sport to promote inclusion;
- Developed competences in designing educational sport games and activities;
- Strengthened teamwork, facilitation and communication skills;
- Supported the creation of inclusive sport-based learning activities;
- Created a professional network of youth and sport practitioners.
