A Guide to Surviving the Fast Life Taking Over Cities
About A Guide to Surviving the Fast Life Taking Over Cities
This project, which deals with the problem of socialization of young people by addressing this problem in every aspect, wants to produce analyzes with their participants by associating them with ‘’fast’’ lifestyles.
The concept of Cittaslow is very important in this process. In Turin, Italy, this concept, which opposes the concept of fast food and emphasizes traditionalism by protecting the fabric of the city, points to a slow and calm way of life. Fast food and fast lifestyle culture, which prevent socialization, are the sociological phenomena that indirectly affect issues such as young people’s orientation towards individuality, rapid and hollow relations form deformation, and self-isolation from society. In this direction, the project, which focuses on the socialization of young people, has adopted the cittaslow culture as a project concept and aims to use it as a means of dissemination.
Moving away from prejudices, combating xenophobia, intercultural communication, lifelong learning, etc. which constitute the general objectives of this project are the main topics that already exist in the socialization process.
