SoftPath
About SoftPath
The project embeds values-based judo education into primary school PE to strengthen physical literacy, social-emotional skills, and inclusive participation. By equipping teachers and linking schools with local judo clubs, it creates a safe, structured pathway from introductory lessons to long-term grassroots sport—especially benefiting children aged 6–12 in rural or disadvantaged contexts
This project has the following general objectives:
- Equip primary school teachers to deliver safe, inclusive judo sessions.
- Provide a school-ready “Mehka pot” handbook with lesson plans, safety guidance, and adaptable activities.
- Build sustainable cooperation pathways between schools and local judo clubs.
- Foster values (respect, cooperation, resilience) alongside physical literacy and wellbeing.
- Expand inclusive participation for children with fewer opportunities and from underserved areas.
- Strengthen the capacity of judo clubs—especially newcomers to Erasmus+—to work with schools.
