Positive Kid’s Supporter

Positive Kid’s Supporter – SUPKID was a European project focused on educating coaches about proper behaviour during training sessions and sport games, especially in their interaction with young participants. The project recognised that coaches play an important role in the physical and mental development of young athletes and aimed to promote better training quality, positive coaching practices and healthier sport environments.

The project supported the exchange of practices, strategies and training systems between partner countries, helping coaches increase their awareness, knowledge and professional competences. Through meetings with partner organisations and the comparison of coaching behaviours across different contexts, SUPKID developed a set of good practices for coaches in the form of a manual, contributing to more attractive training programmes, higher job satisfaction and a stronger role for sport in promoting inclusion, equal opportunities and healthy lifestyles.
