Learning through mobility of sports’ volunteers

About Learning through mobility of sports’ volunteers – MOVING

Learning through Mobility of Sports’ Volunteers – MOVING was a Small Collaborative Partnership in the field of sport that aimed to support the mobility of volunteers, coaches, managers and staff from non-profit sport organisations. The project focused on people aged 18 and above who were interested in volunteering as a way to explore possible career pathways in sport, while also strengthening their personal and professional competences.

The project responded to the European policy challenge of promoting volunteering in sport as a vehicle for employability, economic growth and social engagement. By creating a European network and supporting mobility opportunities, MOVING encouraged volunteers and sport organisations to exchange good practices, develop new skills through non-formal education and e-learning, and improve the quality, attractiveness and operational capacity of grassroots sport organisations.
