About DEEP
DEEP – Disasters, Education, Engagement and Prevention aimed to raise awareness about disaster risk reduction, prevention and community preparedness. Taking place in Casaio, Spain, the project brought together young people from different countries to develop knowledge, practical skills and communication tools to help make their communities safer and more resilient.
Main objectives
- Raised awareness about disaster risks and prevention;
- Built knowledge and practical skills in disaster preparedness;
- Promoted youth engagement in community safety and resilience;
- Fostered collaboration, solidarity and shared responsibility;
- Developed communication tools for awareness-raising actions;
- Encouraged participants to take local action in their communities.
