About Common Ground

Common Ground aimed to strengthen social inclusion, wellbeing and personal development through art and sport-based non-formal learning. Taking place in Venice, Italy, the project brought together youth workers from seven European countries to explore how creativity, sport, digital storytelling and intercultural dialogue can support more inclusive and engaging youth work practices.

Main objectives

  • Promoted social inclusion through art and sport-based methods;
  • Strengthened youth workers’ competences in artistic, sport and digital tools;
  • Developed leadership, teamwork, intercultural communication and facilitation skills;
  • Integrated green practices into youth work activities;
  • Built an international peer-learning network;
  • Supported participants in replicating the methods locally.
