About BIKEandMUSIC
BIKEandMUSIC was a European project that combined cycling and music to promote sustainable mobility, cultural exchange and community building across Europe. The project used cross-border cycling tours and live music events as a creative way to encourage active lifestyles, raise awareness about eco-friendly transport and highlight the importance of sustainable solutions in the context of the climate crisis.
By bringing together sport, culture and local communities, BIKEandMUSIC created opportunities for intercultural dialogue and cooperation between different countries and organisations. The project also supported the preservation and promotion of local musical traditions, while strengthening social cohesion and building sustainable transnational partnerships between sport, cultural and civic organisations.
Main Objectives
