About SportsEntre
SportEntre was a European project focused on supporting athletes in developing entrepreneurial competences as part of their dual careers. The project recognised that athletes often already have important qualities connected to entrepreneurship, such as discipline, resilience, teamwork and a winning mindset, and aimed to transform these strengths into practical skills for creating and managing their own professional opportunities beyond sport.
The project developed interactive e-learning modules and instructional videos focused on building an entrepreneurial mindset, aligned with the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework, EntreComp. It also created the SportEntre network, a digital platform where athletes could share experiences, find encouragement and connect with like-minded people. To support the sustainability of the project results, a training programme for SportEntre Ambassadors was also implemented.
Main Objectives

- Supported athletes in developing entrepreneurial skills as part of their dual careers;
- Stimulated initiative, creativity and entrepreneurial attitudes among participants;
- Developed an interactive e-learning course and instructional videos on entrepreneurship;
- Adapted the learning content to the European EntreComp framework;
- Promoted digital learning through interactive Erasmus+ educational resources;
- Created the SportEntre network as a digital platform for athletes;
- Trained SportEntre Ambassadors to support the long-term sustainability of the project.
