About First Aid First
First Aid First aimed to raise awareness among young people about the importance of first aid in everyday situations, at home, school, work or in public spaces. The project encouraged participants to develop basic first aid knowledge, become more prepared for emergencies and understand how simple interventions can help save lives until professional medical support arrives.
Main Objectives
- Provided young people with basic knowledge about first aid;
- Encouraged youth participation in voluntary first aid activities;
- Raised awareness about the importance of first aid in daily life;
- Supported young people in developing competences to act in emergency situations;
- Promoted equal opportunities, inclusion and participation of young people with fewer resources;
- Encouraged intercultural understanding and broke down prejudices and discrimination;
- Contributed to lifelong learning through non-formal education methods.
